Earning money with electric power? Earning lots of money with electric
power? A very good idea! Should I use coal or oil to generate power in
the old-fashioned or will there be a shortage of those resources in the
future? Will there be a future in burning garbage? Certainly nuclear
power is very exciting and as long as the government will manage the
nuclear waste there will be a lot of profit. Of course, you can use
more ecological friendly power and be independent of resources. But
will such power plants be powerful enough for the customers in the
future? Naturally you must watch your competitors to see what plants
they build, which cities they have in their net, what resources they
depend on, and what new power plants they find interesting.
A strategy game of planning with surges of energy.
Contents:
Two-sided game board (Germany/USA), 48 power plant cards, money, over
200 wooden pieces. Box size approximately 36 x 25 x 5cm
Power Grid Expansion: Benelux/Central Europe

This expansion pack for Power Grid provides two new maps. Benelux on one side and Central Europe on the other. Along with the maps are small rule changes to reflect the power culture in these two countries. As the Benelux countries support ecological power, players may have greater opportunities to acquire such power plants. Also, oil is more available and coal less available in these countries. Coal will be much more plentiful in Poland than elsewhere in Central Europe. Due to political stands in some countries, players may be limited in their access to nuclear power. The result is not just new maps, but new ways to play this great game! |
