Each player represents a tribe of Israel who is seeking to be the first to settle Canaan! Guide your tribe through out the fertile lands of Canaan. Each hex space will yield a certain resource that you can cash in for roads, settlements and cities. Harvest resources of stone and ore from the land to help build Jerusalem and receive King David's blessing. Harvest timber, grain, wool and brick to build more roads and settlements to expand your territory!

But work quickly! Your opponents are moving to settle the most fertile parts of Canaan! You also need to be weary, a plague could come upon you at any time and destroy your harvest!

Settlers of Canaan is based on the award winning Settlers of Catan game series by Klaus Teuber.

Contents: 1 game board (with a fixed map), 20 settlement pieces (5 x 4 different colors), 16 city pieces (4 x 4 different colors), 60 road pieces (15 x 4 different colors), 4 victory point markers (4 x 4 different colors), 4 building costs cards, 1 wood "plague" pawn, 115 resource cards, 35 development cards, 3 special bonus cards, 2 six-sided dice, all in a box approximately 27 x 25 x 6cm
